Do you have a baby? Are you on Twitter?
Do you sometimes wonder if your little one has a wet nappy?
Well its looking like some bright spark has invented an iphone app that will monitor the humidity levels of your babies nappy, and will then send you a tweet when your baby pees. So busy parents in Brazil now have one less thing to need to pay attention to.
Have you ever wondered, what you could do if you had all the Lego bricks in the world?
Well apparently here is your answer:

Hello!
Can I just grab your attention for one moment, if you don’t mind?
The Little Southern Dad Blog is now on Facebook. If you could spare me a like, I’d love you forever!
Thank you!
Check out this lovely video of some parents announcing to their daughters with a ‘We are having twins’ cake.
I love how rule 1 ends up being. “Dont eat the baby”.

Mothercare present the badly named series of videos called “Mums Tell Mums”, with helpful advice covering all sorts of areas. Being a dad though, I feel the need to ask the Good Lady Wife to watch these videos before we can apply any of the advice.
On a serious note, if you have a little one beginning to teeth, these are wise words on how to comfort your Teething Baby.
We thought we did everything right. The plan was simple enough. It was the first day of our holiday, it was sunny, and to make the most of it, we were to walk to The Blue Ball Inn in Exmoor, have lunch, then complete the circular walk back. We even booked in advance.
Well. The walk was a little harder, warmer, and longer then we expected. And I admit, that I felt a certain sense of relief as we passes the “food served all day” as we approached the pub.
That relief started to disappear as we went in. Busy. Hot. We found an area where it looked like someone should be positioned to discuss food, just to find it empty. One of our party talked to the bar man, we were told where to sit, and (apart from the veggie options) there was only really three steak and ale pies left…
Waste of time booking then?
The relief of arriving suddenly became quite a stressful rush to order, and that point we were told there was cod and a few other options left. To be blunt I didn’t care at that point, I just wanted to eat, both myself and the good lady wife went for the pie.
They both came to our table burnt.
Nice.
Worth noting that we couldn’t see any baby changing facilities at The Blue Ball, so be prepared to change your little one on the floor (if there’s space).
To their credit, their The Blue Ball beer is worth a sample. Low in alcohol it’s a nice session beer / safe to have one and walk away from the pub. Actually the blue ball is a nice pub drink at, just don’t eat there.
Well Hello!
Its been a while since I’ve updated this. Its been quite simply because The Little Southern Family have been on holiday in Exmoor. I’ve not explored it much, but if you want a less touristy part of the South West, you cant go far wrong with Exmoor and North Devon.
So I guess I’m saying there maybe an Exmoor theme to the blog for a while…
